The Uniform Child Support Order form (FOC 10) is required in divorce cases with children involved to determine how much one parent has to pay the other parent for supporting their children. This amount is known as child support and is calculated in accordance with the Michigan Child Support Formula. However, deviations from the set guidelines may occur if the established sum is inappropriate or unfair.
This order’s main purpose is to oblige the paying parent to financially support their children after divorce. Both parents can request a review of the order once every 36 months.
